Background

Pavo's story starts from when he was little, son of a noble, European family. His albinism has been the root of his social hindrance, namely because of his own parents. To avoid having their status sullied in anyway, Pavo was kept inside and out of view, to the point that almost no one knew they even had a son. They never truly loved him and were more than happy to send him abroad when he was old enough. Pavo has always held resentment towards his mother and father and since leaving dropped his family name completely (when asked for his last name he only replies he doesn't have one). He only traveled through Europe for about a year before making his way east. Studying different languages, cultures, and even a bit of fighting styles. He became enamored with the Asian cultures and traveled amongst them for most of his late teens. He actually met an up and coming doctor from Japan during this, a man named Yasu. The two became good friends and Pavo first traveled to Japan with him.

Personality

Pavo comes off as a very serious, cold, and uncaring person on the outside. He doesn't speak to most new people he'll meet unless it's out of courtesy. Despite this though, he seems to be a magnet for the happy-go-lucky and annoyingly eccentric type of people. Smiling is also not one of his strong points, only his close friends have seen him crack a smile. On the inside, Pavo has a huge soft side. He cares deeply for those he considers his family or close friends, which is very few (mostly likely due to trust issues). Because of his past and his actual appearance, Pavo tends to stay away from crowded areas and from mingling with others. He's used to getting stares and they don't bother him as much but he'd prefer to avoid it altogether.

Fighting Style

Pavo uses a mix of fighting styles, mostly derived from Ba Fa Quan and Fujian White Crane styles. Incorporating his custom podao with these styles, he's gotten quite good. Pavo's not the type to so easily kill others for no reason, that being said if his life is threatened then he won't hesitate. Likewise, Pavo doesn't go picking fights, his work of a wandering body guard for hire gets him into plenty of trouble. His stern and cold disposition allows him to focus better during duels, making it difficult for his opponents to make Pavo lose his cool and catch him off guard.

Other Info

- because of his albinism, Pavo is usually seen carrying an umbrella on sunny days or even wearing a hat. The sun hurts his eyes

- he's also often mistaken for a women

- Pavo has a huge sweet tooth (prefers sweet meals and fruit)

- though he seems annoyed by little kids, he actually enjoys playing with them

- he also enjoys drinking (only with a few people or none at all)
